IT'S A SEXY CITRUS FLORAL scent and I want to get the full bottle. My Way reminds me of Flowerhead by Byredo. And since no one else wore perfume but me that day. Delicious and feminine, I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys sweet candy-like fragrances. Fell in love with the gorgeous bottle (& commercial is also beautiful). I went thru 2 sample vials before and after Christmas. Really didnt like it. My Way by Giorgio Armani will leave you smelling like an ethereal princess. This is just ok, nothing ground breaking or highly interesting. This is puzzlingI get an intense smell of a wild European variety of strawberry (Fragaria viridis, commonly called creamy strawberry). I get a medicinal accord which reminds me of pink bubble gum amoxicillin. Smells like an Orange Julius mixed with a dash of Calyx and a few squirts of drugstore shampoo, under a cloud of hairspray. I didnt want to like this perfume. I personally think that it's too strong and too sweet to the point where I find it headache inducing. Im always in it for the vanilla (and similar notes). I get about 8-10 hours out of it, and thats if I just spray it on my wrists and insides of my elbows - if its on my clothes, its still there the next day. I have a coworker that always smells bomb so I finally asked her what she was wearing and it was this! yep. I received a sample of this in a set.The opening is the first in awhile that truly smells like orange blossom, but it quickly changed on my skin to almost a pepper-y heavy scent. Love it. I've just seen and smelled too much at this point to be falling for every beautiful scent. So sweet and pleasant with the tuberose that it smells like grape candy and white flowers (my mom thought I had on something with gardenia) when it first opens, but dries down to a nice vanilla musk within a few hours. I once wore a sweater to bed that Id worn to work that day, and the next morning my husband woke up and hugged me, saying youre warmand you smell like flowers.. It does lean more sweet floral (than say sweet floral/gourmand). Boring and uninspired. So many people complain about it having too much tuberose, and I don't smell any! Honestly, I don't think this smells like L'Interdit at all. As for me, its just not my bag, baby! It is the best use of Virginia Cedar I have ever smelled. It was sent as a gift when my boyfriend bought himself perfume. can't smell much of anything else. but I'm not seeing any solid dupes or super similar perfumes so idk what's up with that lol. That bitterness reminded me so strongly of something, but I didnt figure it out until hours later: this smells IDENTICAL to the smell/taste of tamarillo juice (Tomate de Arbol). I tried it when I stopped by Kohls and couldnt stop thinking about it. I get the sweet bubblegum/white gummy bears comparison in the first 0.5 seconds, then as I keep smelling it a hideous bitter note comes into play. I'm disappointed and envious of the glowing reviews, but I have to defend the people who say it smells generic to them. I dont understand these negative coments! Some of my friends think it smells like wild strawberries! I started off iffy on this one but grew to really enjoy it. I smell peach on the first sprays. Is it just me, or does anyone else a BIG peach accord in the opening? Let me just tell you, I'm a waitress and I wear this at workmen are all over me mesmerized by this smell. A mere whiff of this stuff now makes my stomach turn. But to me is smells like the natural sweetness you find in real blossoms. Lasted on my wrist into the next day. No way anything like Zara! To me this smells like bubblegum and candy stores. I cannot have two super sweet fragrances altogether. Its a sweet floral, strawberry bubblegum scent. I can't tell you how many samples of this I have. I cant believe that are so many negative reviews about this amazing perfume. It's like that. It does happen. I like it, and wore it every day for a couple of weeks. I think the other reviewers who are saying "grape" are picking up on the same note - only to me, it's more specifically guava, though it could probably be interpreted either way by different people. So beautiful and feminine. If you enjoy tuberose and want an everyday, all-season mild fragrance, you would really enjoy this. I couldn't place the notes for this, so I came here to try and understand what I'm smelling. Sweet, sort of air freshener sweet. I actually got this scent as a sample when I bought a bottle of Armani Stronger With You just because I had to choose two samples of something. its flirty n perfect for the warmer days. Almost too nice for every day. But the thing is, I really enjoy it all the way through the dry down. Ive been covering myself in it. have yet to wear it out but I feel like its going to last forever on my skin, im so excited for this one!! I absolutely love this stuff. Umema: The Perfume That'll Never Be Smelled, Carner Barcelona - the Summer Journey Collection, Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Pour Homme Le Parfum, Amber and Ambergris are Two Different Notes, Rice Perfumes That Stand Out From the Crowd, Should You Smell Someone Before Talking to Them? It's nice but if you really want a jasmine-vanilla perfume there are SO many better, more dimensional options (If you want a cozy white floral perfume that isn't quite gourmand I personally love Armani Code for Herit's still a warm, sweet clean jasmine but way more complex). It will get cloying like tuberose does in heat. I really wanted to love this. Jasmine is my favorite floral and I have worn vanilla extract as perfume!! Simply an inoffensive, sweet, white floral with mass appeal for year round use. I can appreciate them when they are blended in with other notes, but here they are playing the main characters. This smells like that pink bubblegum from my childhood. Its happy :) I mostly smell the jasmine.
I've tried letting it rest for a few months, to no avail. Hate to love it. . It reminds me of a softer, more feminine and floral L'Interdit (Givenchy). It's like a long lost 2000s Juicy Couture sister. tuberose done correctly, without giving a "plastic" or artificial feel. I can see why it appeals to people, it's just not my cup of tea. It smells terrible on me, I have smelt it on my sister inlaw and MIL, and on a tester strip it smells amazing I sprayed it on my skin it smelt terrible which hurts my heart. i get a little bit of a tea vibe which is right up my alley! I love every single note listed here and fully expected to love this. I tested this twice already and you cannot convince that this does not smell or rather has similar hints of the Jean-Paul Gaultier SO SCANDAL. I would have loved to see an EDT but this year all brands go for EDP flankers even for SpringSummer releases. Got a sample when I reupped my Si Fiori. I can see this on the prettiest bachelor contestant in any given season. hours on my skin. Its like chewing a massive wad of grape bubblegum and then screaming at the top of your lungs; syrupy purple sugar-spit flying everywhere. Some have said it smells cheap. Love that part! Pleasantly enjoying this sample. Point is, I wouldn't write it off because of that. Very sweet and light scent, perfect for spring and summer times. Well - go figure . I loved the opening, grape bubblegum jasmine. People keep saying it's basic, uninspired, etc. Went to try it in the store. Seductive and grown. Mouthwatering grape candy scent, but mature - not juvenile or cloying. I have a tester of this perfume. For the price, get some Zara. This comes off as a musky and sweet white floral perfume, but I can't pick out the orange blossom in this like I wanted to. Heavy on the jasmine. I have a hard time with orange blossom, but being it's right in the opening, and dissipated quickly, I found the fragrance pleasant enough. I get followed by hospital staff when I visit my mother's rehab when I wear One Way. I get a lot of floral and sweetness, some green notes as well- adding freshness. It's very safe, very generic, and very pretty. At first spray I really smelled the florals but the citrus quickly came through and kept the fragrance on the fresh side of the aisle. i tried this in wintertime and i hated its guts. Opening reminds me of grape soda (in a good way) but that goes away in the dry down.
It's tolerable, but any more and it would be sickening to me. It will waft through the air. The projection is enormous! I like the bright orange blossom and fruity opening, but the real magic happens for me in the dry down. This perfume has been a staple in my collection and I cannot imagine going without it. A little youthful, but not childish. The messed this up BAD. Vanilla is more apparent an hour and a half later, never losing sight of the potent florals. this has easily become my signature scent! It's sunny and bright, very comforting. I even asked the lady helping me test it to please smell the SO SCANDAL to see if they don't smell similar and she actually said they do. For me, I have an obscene amount of fragrances so my criteria are quite high for a full bottle (or even a decant) at this point PLUS I feel like L'Interdit and Oriana (PDM) are far more my speed and I consider them similar enough in some way.
There are so many fragrances that smell exactly like this - jasmine-based with a hint of vanilla. Mmm, pure jasmine and honeysuckle goodness! I like the scent. I'm not getting any of the floral notes. But if you love tuberose a lot, maybe for you! A fragrance that instantly makes me smile whenever I smell it. I was hesitant to use my sample atomizer of My Way for the longest time because of the white floral triple threat in the notes pyramid (I tend to avoid too many at once bc my nose disagrees with the overly screechy/indolic variety), but this is all bubblegum, simple syrup and grape juice on my skin. A shame really. it smelled like bubblegum in the most artificial way. This smells like if spring was a fragrance. Just another boring floral fragrance. I have a sample vial. Science Says Maybe, From the Gardens of Versailles to the Gardens of Babylon; The Allure of Olfactory Exploration Beckons at Jardin de Parfums, Armani My Way Eau de Parfum Spray ri (. Definitely very sweet, although not sickly. I just got my hands on another sample spray and holy moly it is so much different from the first 2. Someone below mentioned "guava candy" which I've never had or heard of, but now that's the only thing I can think of when I smell this. For that reason I probably won't repurchase but I will try to layer with some gourmands for the same effect :), Im wearing it today, sun is shining outside and this perfume is giving me spring vibes! it does kinda smell like something you'd get at bath and body works but sometimes a girl needs that, ya know? I dont think Ill be repurchasing because its not super special to me in any way but Im definitely enjoying it as my work daily at the moment. I can see this becoming a favourite because I can wear it anytime and its inoffensive. Has no one else noticed but me? When it dried down it smelled soapy. Let it simmer for a few minutes and it dries down to a dreamy spring vanilla. For now, I'll say it's a winter fragrance. The tuberose is quite dominating, but other than that it's well rounded and if you don't mind that particular note, you might just like this as an easygoing, mid-weight fragrance, very suitable during the day. It's very distinguishable, and stays on my skin for a long time. I am prone to headaches and sometimes I have to stay away from this for that very reason (the kind of odd sweetness). i can imagine in heat and humidity, this would be very cloying since it is an intoxicating, heavy sweet white floral. Its such perfect scent, very youthful, joyful and unique perfume that lifts my mood every time I wear it. I only detect bubblegum, not any other notes. That's all there is to it IMO lol. You have most likely smelled this before. Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Espaol, Franais, etina, Italiano, , Polski, Portugus, , , Nederlands, Srpski, Romn, , , , . Revisiting my little splash bottle this is heavy on the orange blossom and tuberose. Unfortunately, on my skin, all I smell is "department store perfume.". But back to My Way: The generic name and package design are misleading, this perfume is much better than I expected. I imagine I would enjoy smelling it on someone else, despite not typically preferring such sweet scents. Then about 10 minutes in, the white florals came to the surface. Its linear and a tad generic, but I love it! I realized today it has a very familiar white floral combination that gives the freshness of a wedding fragrance. Definitely worth the money. I've had a sample of this for a while, so it's had a few years to macerate. It calms after a while but not enough for me to be able to tolerate this. I realized I loved it when I was in the car in the early afternoon, and My Way got my attention - several hours after spraying. Can't understand what combination of notes plays this trick on me. I am just starting to really understand the subtleties of fragrances and this made me realize that I dislike tuberose. The sweetness in this scent is weird to me, it's the kind you often find in fabric softener, at least in Europe. Call me crazy, but this smells just like Kim Kardashians first fragrance!!!! Nope! Totally inoffensive and way overpriced for what it is. But i'm not that girl, and thats ok. Mix that with tuberose and orange blossom and you get a pungent liquid that just doesn't smell right. For someone who loves white florals, this would be a happy dream. This is like an intense version of SO SCANDAL. Bubblegum scent with something very sweet and unique projecting around u for so long beautiful, grab this ASAP . Safe blind buy as a gift for a teenager. im telling you YOU NEED THIS.its not sweet not too floral just perfect! This however is an instant dislike. Puts me in a good mood instantly. I could smell this on all age groups. I didnt like it when it first came out but I figured why not when I was offered a free sample on FB. Its so elegant and also most complimented fragrance on me. Some happen to love those notes and this may be a match made in heaven. Its not the sexiest, most seductive perfume that would come to mind (then again, many have said Linterdt to be a man eater perfume, a fragrance which is comparable to My Way) but its for sure very elegant and beautiful - I could see this getting compliments! I had a hard time agreeing with the reviewers who said it smelled like grape bubblegum. Bergamot and orange blossom are the stars in the beginning of this perfume story. It is so pretty and positive. I don't know how to feel about this, but there's something joyous about this blend. This def going to be my signature for the summer. Love, love and love! Ive been testing it 3 times so far. A young, almost sweet, almost fresh, floral. This has already been tweaked/reformulated. But it lasts .5 seconds on me. the opening was overwhelmingly sweet grape, which i attribute to the tuberose. i even own and love Good Girl Gone Bad and Gucci Bloom (yellow bottle) but nope if I smell it out of the cap I feel an instant headache. Anyone remember those Asian guava candies in the green wrapper? Still, it gives me grape candy vibes, similarly to what I get from Clean Reserves Acqua Neroli, though I like that one much less. Someone in Reddit described it as smelling like grape bubblegum, which piqued my interest. I really tried to like this fragrance but its just too much for me. I can see how some people are smelling bubblegum with the tuberose but to me looking at the notes, I smell the stated notes. I love My Way. There's nothing to dislike about this perfume - it's a sophisticated, classic scent. This was my gateway drug into Tuberose. It was given to my sister as a gift. which is just perfect. Its easy to love, easy to wear and makes me feel so beautiful! It's a scrubber for me. Whole lotta jasmine. I imagine it will stay like this until it finishes, but I'm also no longer interested in tracking it. more like sweet, delicate florals, difficult to describe at first so you might have to concentrate to be able to describe it. So much jasmine in the worst way. All in all, an artificial, screechy, headache inducing mess. It smells very synthetic. A yummy bubblegum white floral. However, initially I did like it because it was pleasant and made me feel happy. Found this one pretty unremarkable. this gave me a nasty headache, which most perfumes dont, so unfortunately its out of my collection. Thankfully the creamyness of tuberose also begins to soften the loudness of the flower scent at this point. Love it :). This has kind of a classic cozy white floral perfume smell but nothing unique or interesting. I don't know any other white florals that I would call subtle but not fresh, so I ended up liking my way a lot more than I thought I would. Very harsh fragrance. After about fifteen minutes the citrus begins to give way to the deepening of tuberose to soften what felt dangerously close to soapy white florals, and rounds out the scent more. a lovely floral scent , although in my skin it turns a bit fruity. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. This doesnt smell good to me anymore. Sure I like unique scents too, but I very rarely find an occasion to wear statement making fragrances, and the perfumes I wear most often are the ones that smell lovely and inoffensive, with good lasting power and projection. Very sweet, almost too sweet, but somehow manages to balance on the "yes side". Fresh tuberose and it ends with vanilla. It was kind of like sour milk. I wanna go to Southridge mall and laugh too loud in the food court. Yes, it is not the most original perfume in the world, yet it is is such a good mood scent. Is it a crowd pleaser? I like it as a work fragrance, the opening is lovely and kind of sparkles in a way and as it warms up with me as I work the ambroxan comes out and gives the perfume an almost body wash type of vibe, which is great for me because I have an active job. I adore tuberoze and here its so light, beautiful and sensual. And it definitely stands out. Then, the jasmine comes through and the scent becomes more creamy and smooth. If I was interested in claiming a signature scent, this could be it. This is how I exactly wanted Givenchys LInterdit to smell like. Tremulous, luminous, effervescentcandied white flowers glistening with rainthe verdant rush of Spring returningjoyous & hopefula fresh faced ingenue not taking itself too seriously, going barefoot over the cloverbike rides between the treesfruit eaten outdoorswhite linen to wear & hair kept loosesweet, fresh, sparklingcoupled butterflies, moon seen out in the day. An exhilarating musky white floral jasmine fragrance, its beautiful and a clean scent great for the spring or for gloomy, rainy days for an uplifting effect. Let me explain: A brand wants a perfume to sell in massive volumes that will appeal to everyone. I'm going to hurt some feelings, but whatever. Scintillating, beautiful orange blossom style floral. I am torn as to what season this is best for it, all signs (and apparently fellow reviewers) point to Spring/Summer, but it is just.a tad much, I think, for too hot of weather. A great signature! What a surprise, I don't smell flowers that much in here and to me it's mostly (sweet) citrus. My new signature scent. So SPRING, not summer. I don't believe that someone could actually hate it (at least not on others). There's a beautiful bergamot and a weird bitter note (orange blossom, is that you?) This perfume is very hyped up and I totally get it. Way too sweet and there is something in it that i cannot describe what I absolutely dislike. Overly ripe, juicy, sweet peach, and bubblegummy tuberose. I get Jasmin, a pinch of grape and a lot of summer heat from this, don't know how else to describe it. Initially like the grape-ish scent that project at the beginning. So so good. This one is not for me. It's nothing groundbreaking but its a great everyday scent if you just want something girly. I wanted to love this one because I like GA and Carlos Benaim but i was disappointed, all I get is sweet artificial Jasmin.. Interestingly, the midnotes of this perfume are what you smell for the longest time and the cedar dry down just disappears. Now I haven't smelled any of the Scandal line, but really, this is the fruitiest tuberose/orange blossom combo I have come across and I don't know how much more grapey it can get than this. It makes me think of the color pink, but not a pastel, a neon pink from the 80's. I dont get those things, but I think I can see why one might. It's really sparkly and energizing, dries to a creamy floral. GAs My Way is so muchh better. The projection isn't too strong but it does smell nice. Fresh, citrusy Tuberose. So Im trying it again tonight and its still a no. This is the scent that made me realize that I hate tuberose. I love Mw so much but I wish they would launch an EDT version of it, so far all the flankers have been EDP and they are too heavy in the heat. I would almost even wear it myself, but one or more of the notes - the jasmine, I think - has such a loud synthetic edge that I can't stand to smell it except at some distance. My Way by Giorgio Armani is a Floral fragrance for women. Fragrantica Inc, United States, I love this on OTHER people. Actually slaps. I'll test it in summer time and update my review accordingly. Okay so I LOVE this perfume. Amazing scent that I wish lasted longer on my skin. The tuberose accord is grapey and strong and ALMOST but not too much, I love it! Strong, with loud projection, unoriginal and boring. It's just everything, everything. Nope, this is way too sharp and headache inducing for me, and I love white florals. Its not something I would wear but I wouldnt necessarily say I dislike it. This is a scent Id want to wear if I was trying to feel prepared, working, or maybe more specifically standing in line for the SATs. Just too girly candy-esque for me, not the kind of thing I tend to wear regularly. It leaves so fast, though. Not a complex scent at all, develops slightly more vanilla but that's about it. I know that sounds weird. It's not a bad scent but not really something I want to smell like. I also barely get the bergamot, the opening is actually quite sweet and it reminds me of peaches. I really disagree with anyone who says this is just an assembly-line fragrance - this smells like a delightful, bubblegum pop version of Givenchy's Amarige. Thankfully, those are floral notes that I like. For the longest time, I was obsessed with this scent. Good sillage, average lasting about 4 hrs before can barely detect it on your skin. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. amazing for this spring xoxo. Its a spring/summer scent. I think it smells a lot like Diptyque Do Son with a vanilla base. The sillage and longevity are moderate, but this scent isnt interesting enough to justify a FB purchase, although the drydown with the vanilla is quite lovely. Its a juicy, pink powerhouse. Ugh, I really dislike this. I can barely even recognize it as a floral, the fruity aspects are turned up so high. I wish I had done a bit of research before I tried so I would have had an idea of what to expect. Bright, cheerful, feminine, and a tad too sweet. My Way is a great example of the "unoriginal Sephora shelf perfume" scent. Idk does anyone else have this problem? This is churchy based on my experience. Perfect for a business women wich I am not! i have a sample of this, so loveable! I adore this. Yes it is sweet, I get the bubblegum pink vibes that some people have mentioned, but its not cloying. I don't like this fragrance, it smells like scented play-dough. A youthful fragrance, pleasant overall. I had been kicking myself ever since over not getting a bottle and hoping another sample might come "my way" haha. Instant nausea, headache designer white floral perfumes are the worst somehow. right off the bat, it smells like this very fruity green grape or pear type of scent. Even though I wore quite sometimes now, I never got complimented on, but I like it nevertheless. I'm SMITTEN with the opening only, after that it's just meh. Better Smelling but similar, Chanel Chance. I will also be completely GONE from your skin in an hour. Very girly and fun, I'm pleased with how much I like it. white flowers without any distinctive focal point, a lot of artificial sugara long diffusion like a chewing gum you can keep in mouth during hours without zero variation with the taste. And then the warmth of the base notes of vanilla/musk/and cedar came though. If I have to describe this scent I would say it's Bubbles from Powerpuff girls. Could have done it earlier, just didnt have a chance. this perfume has at least moderate performance! But in all seriousness this is one of the best affordable perfumes out there. The dry down is just beautiful to me! The notes are very well blended and the scent stays fresh and youthful during all stages. Im gonna be that girl with this a little bit. Perfume lovers: 792,231 It's fun, it's bubbly and very youthful. 5/10 for me! This fragrance actually makes me happyand Im famous for being grumpy. I feel like u could get away with this if you didnt overspray though, as the bubblegummy sweetness is pleasant while it lasts. Its pretty, feminine and youthful. Also it is long lasting, more so on clothes. I tried it before looking at the notes and OMG. Not bad, but very unexpected. I am not sure yet whether this is a summerly fragrance best worn in colder temperatures, or if it will also do well when weather is warmer. I am beginning to come to the conclusion that Fragantica reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt. the scent brings me back to the 2000's because of how reminiscent of pez it is to me!!! Good for spring and summer. I don't hate it but it does smell exactly like my Kerastase jasmine dry shampoo, which I love, just not sure whether I'd love it as a perfume. The perfume was also a bit weak to me. Its triggering lol. Perfect for daytime in spring! Just look for a synthetic floral sweet generic scent.
