Every room has a stunning view. A perfect antidote is unpretentious Portopalo di Capo Passero, the most southerly town in Italy, with its castle, lighthouse and small beach. You have direct access to some local sandy beaches and to the fabulous Erice: an ancient village perched on the hill reachable by direct cable car. If you fly to Palermo, then the city itself, as well as Cefalu or San Vito lo Capo, are great options.
