If your brakes don't improve then maybe the back brakes are way far out of adjustment. A spool or stem slides back and forth inside the piston bore of the proportioning valve, according to the pressure it receives. so i dont break the hard line on each end. It was broke in side and was mostly closed so was have a flow issue. ok that's what i was going to ask there is a little rod on one end. on my 92 the valve is a little different and in a different location but the pin is flush.
