Thank you for the replies everyone! My favorite accords were the bergamot (no surprise, as I always loved my mothers Shalimar) and the florals, especially rose and jasmine.

Undina: I remember that I really liked the opening of LOmbre Dans LEau EdT but then it developed too sweet on my skin (which is very strange since I do not smell many sweets in perfumes that others do). Id love to see 34 Blvd St. Germain become an EDP.

Io my mind it was supposed to be a bit watery so the EDP strength might not work. The only thing that sometimes puts me off wearing LOmbre dans Leau is that it can be a bit oversweet at times; I would think a bit more earthiness in the base might balance it perfectly. However, at the last moment, I realized that I would never finish the bottle of the EDP anyway, so there is no point in getting the solid perfume as well. I wonder if the EDP version has that same linear quality? I will give them both a try when I have a chance.

Im very intrigued by Philosykos and LOmbre dans Leau.

I have never tried Tam Dao.

Eau de parfum and Eau de toilette might not smell the same, even if they're labeled as being the same fragrance. I no longer want to try every single new perfume, but I still get excited about the possibility of something interesting.

Great addition to the Dyptique line.

They have somewhat better longevity than the EDTs, which one would expect, but I also think they are formulated differently enough from their counterparts to make them both equally attractive.

Those green rose notes are even more saturated in this version.

I wont get started on the classic Guerlains! Ninfeo Mio is my favourite fig scent. The EDT is a little greener, fresher and a touch more coconutty, but it's also thinner to my nose and and doesn't last as well.

Tam Dao would be my pick. The packaging presents the Eaux de Parfum in reverse, with black background and white imagery and text. I doubt that it would sway someone who didnt like the fragrance in the first place, but if you liked the EDT, but were sort of on the fence about it, definitely give the EDP a try.
