The Lovely bottle is gorgeous Simple, but very pretty! Is it even worth a purchase? It remains a mystery why I ever acquired a bottle of SJP LOVELY, not being a fan of Sarah Jessica Parker, and not a fan of celebrity scents in general, but it happened somehow, so about once every six months I take out my undeniably lovely bottle of LOVELY and try to figure out why I don't really like what's inside. Lovely features notes of mandarin, bergamot, rosewood, lavender, apple martini, patchouli, paper whites, orchid, cedar, white amber, musk and woods. strangers would constantly stop me and ask me what perfume I was wearing. Its peachy and rosy indeed.

For a celebrity fragrance, this one is of good quality, and at a cheap price. This category only includes cookies that ensures basic functionalities and security features of the website. The only thing I am not sure is what marketing purpose there might be in classifying these fragrances as chypres (other than Miss Dior Cherie, which is a descendant of Miss Dior, a quintessential chypre).

I loved your eloquent review of Narcisco Rodriguez ! Ive sampled both Narciso Rodriquez for Her and Lovely, and I like them both, although I prefer the NR EDT over the EDP (and over the Lovely for that matter).

Chypre category with its strong accord based on the interplay of hesperidic, floral, woody and mossy facets has gathered popularity since 1917, when Coty Chypre intriguingly explored the extremes of olfactory spectrum to create a memorable and unusual fragrance weaving bergamot, oak moss, labdanum, and patchouli . Though, it does lead more towards the more mature woman.

I had the edp, and it smells like sweet warm skin and hair to me. I discovered this often with Coco Mlle. Narciso Rodriguez line might cause some confusion, therefore perhaps some clarifications are in order. Too brass/brash and it doesnt settle down.

I also received a large sample body cream as well. I have to admit that the texture did not appeal to me at all for the same reason you mentioned.
