Ditched that to save weight. The big plus for me was the size; first goes in the inside is a 2 cup Ziplock screw top container as my eating bowl and critter proof food reconstituter with some side trimming to make it fit in, then a Sea to Summit mug inside of that and inside the sea to summit mug my MSR micro rocket, the Ziplock lid fits inside the lid of the cookset. My friend has one and I like it a lot. I realized immediately that the "frying pan" was useless as such, but works just fine as a lid if you prop the handle up so it stays balanced. As for the lid/fry pan, if you fold the handle down and make sure that its over one of the arms of your stove, there is no problem with stability. Just putting this out there before I purchase new. This would be a 5 star pot if it had a lid option that fit well. Titanium distributes heat very fast so boiling water is quick and will cool just as fast.

If you buy a larger fuel canister, however, it will fill up most of the empty room in the Trek 900 (with the Giga Power in there, too). Without that strap that I made all the contents would've been strung out across the mountain side. The pot has a 30 oz capacity. The upsides are light weight, and compact design. This is a great Light weight cooking kit. It didn't render this pot useless though, as I have used it in conjunction with the Giga Power stove for a couple of years even with a warped bottom. There's too much room allowing the cookset to move around and anything that you had in there becomes free to float around in the bag also. It's not my favorite cookset, it's small for a meal and too big for a cup of coffee, but it sure fits the Bushbuddy perfect. Would rather have a flat lid that fits more snug. So I bought it and used it only 2 days ago in a Nat'l Forest. Snow Peak makes the most durable of the titanium cooksets and the "nestling design" is great. For greater confidence in the quality and properties of the product, we recommend buying a sample (1-2 pieces of the product) before buying a large batch. If you own other similar sized cooking gear you might find a lid that works better. Overall, for canoe camping, its excellent. Luckily REI is an AWESOME company, and they were able to let me exchange it, and I went with Snow Peak again, hoping that it was a simple manufacturing defect. I use the lid for my GSI kettle. Both elements have sturdy folding stainless-steel handles for convenience and practicality.
